Swedish-inspired meatballs with a twist

filipino meatballs

First off, I wanna say thank you to Maia Brindley Nilsson for posting this recipe on her food blog, http://semiswede.com/. The owner of the blog is an american who was migrated to Sweden, however the ingredients of the menu can all be found in the Philippine market. So I made one last night and put a little twist on it. The picture appeared on this post was taken from , http://semiswede.com/ blog.

Instead of following the original ingredients for the meatballs, I made my own list and here it is:

    • Ground pork
    • Minced Carrots
    • Minced Red bell paper
    • Minced Leeks
    • Ground Black paper
    • A sprinkle of Oatmeal
    • Egg
    • Salt to taste

I simpy combine all the ingredients shown above, then form them into smaller dough, and deep fry. Now for the sauce, I followed the complete ingredients used in the “mbnilsson’s” blog and here it is:

    • 3/4 cup water
    • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
    • 1/2 cup cream
    • 3 tablespoons beef stock or 1 beef buillion

To make the sauce, I put all ingredients in a pot under a low fire. I stir continuously until it becomes thick.

And the taste… It’s like heaven on earth… -wink-

Bon appetit…
